109 countries and counting
We have now been in business for about a year and a half, and that made us look back on our achievements since we started. The first app we did in unison was Expenditure, an app we launched worldwide from day one, an app that has received several awards, tons of positive reviews and several prominent features by Apple. It was a significant step for us to focus on the entire world instead of just Denmark because it meant that the number of potential buyers would increase dramatically, but so would the competition.
We have always been focused on making apps that would measure up to the best, not just in Denmark, but worldwide. It is no secret that the iOS platform holds a special place in our hearts because more than any other platform it has set the bar for third party apps high, and that motivates us to improve on every aspect of the apps we create. When you think about how tough the competition in the App Store is with more than 500.000 apps, it fills us with pride when apps we have worked on are named App of the Week by Apple. Imagine having your product picked over every other product out there, and for an entire week be the centre of attention in one of the biggest marketplaces in the world. It feels very good.

The other day we decided to count the number of countries where our apps have been named App of the Week. The number astounded us, 109 countries! It is a testiment of what a wonderful opportunity app stores represent for developers, to get their products out to a huge variety of users. As one of the few Danish developers with apps that have been named App of the Week we would like to encourage the rest to think bigger than just the Danish market, the competition is big, but so are the rewards for succeeding.
